Bangor University offers flexible entry pathways for international students based on their academic background. For undergraduate (UG) programs, applicants are required to have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with at least 75% marks. Additionally, students who have passed a 2-year bachelor’s degree may also be considered for certain courses or credit transfer programs.
Applicants are required to have a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with 75% or above.
Students who have completed a 2-year bachelor’s degree may also be considered for direct entry or course mapping, depending on the program requirements.
Students applying for postgraduate courses must meet one of the following:
2+2 degree holders (BA + MA): 55% in both degrees
4-year honours degree: 60% or CGPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
LLM: Minimum 50% in LLB or a lower second-class degree (50%–59%)
ACCA Route:
Applicants must have passed or received exemptions for 9 ACCA papers, including F4 (LW), F5 (PM), F6 (TX), F7 (FR), F8 (AA), and F9 (FM).
Non-ACCA Route:
4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.30/4.00 CGPA, or
2-year bachelor’s degree (min. 50%) + 2-year master’s degree (min. 60%)
Note: The degree must be in Accounting. Related subjects such as Finance, Business, Math, or Economics may be reviewed by the course leader.
Minimum 9 ACCA passes/exemptions, including:
F4 (LW) – Corporate and Business Law
F5 (PM) – Performance Management
F6 (TX) – Taxation
F7 (FR) – Financial Reporting
F8 (AA) – Audit and Assurance
F9 (FM) – Financial Management
Non-ACCA Route:
Four-year bachelor’s degree – Minimum 2.30/4.00 CGPA
Two-year bachelor’s degree (minimum 50%) +
Two-year master’s degree (minimum 60%)
Degree must be in Accounting
Degrees in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or Economics may be considered on a case-by-case basis by the award leader
